Cornelia Gilpin, DNP, RN, NEA- BC, CCSS™

Dr. Gilpin is a healthcare executive with over 27 years of experience in successfully growing leaders and improving quality initiatives in the healthcare setting. She has worked in several capacities including as a staff nurse, nurse educator and nurse manager. Dr. Gilpin has presented at local and national professional conferences. She is currently a director for professional development and academic affiliations, an adjunct faculty for undergraduate nursing students and a content expert for doctoral students.

 

Dr. Gilpin received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Atlantic Union College, her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Leadership Systems from Regis University, her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wilkes University, and is board certified as a nurse executive advanced.

Dr. Gilpin enjoys mentoring upcoming leaders and is passionate about giving back in meaningful ways. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cycling, travelling, and volunteering, as each provides her an opportunity to learn new things, see different perspectives and integrate them into life lessons.
